Arriving at The Maxwell Hotel, one quickly realizes that the art of hospitality is in the details. The moment we stepped through the vibrant yellow entrance, we were greeted by the cheerful smiles of the staff, their energy reflecting the hotel’s playful spirit. The lobby is a study in color and creativity, with bold accents of turquoise and sunny hues that pop against the polished wooden floors. An impressive mural stretches across one wall, depicting Seattle’s iconic skyline, instantly anchoring us in the city’s heart. It was here, amidst the gentle hum of conversation and the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting from the adjacent café, that we felt the pulse of the hotel’s unique character. As we explored the property, our senses were treated to a delightful interplay of textures and sounds. The open layout of the lobby encouraged a natural flow, allowing guests to mingle, work, or simply unwind. We found ourselves drawn to the inviting seating areas, where plush armchairs beckoned us to sink in and enjoy a moment of quiet contemplation. The ambient lighting shifted gracefully throughout the day, casting a warm glow during the late afternoon and transforming into a cozy, intimate atmosphere come evening. It was a subtle reminder of the hotel’s commitment to creating spaces that cater to the changing moods of its guests. In our room, we were enveloped by an atmosphere of comfort and thoughtful design. The plush bedding, adorned with cheerful patterns, invited us to indulge in a well-deserved rest after a day of exploration. The spacious layout offered ample surfaces for both relaxation and productivity, while the large windows allowed soft natural light to flood the room, creating an uplifting environment. The bathroom, with its modern fixtures and delightful amenities, became a sanctuary for revitalization, complete with high-quality toiletries that added a touch of pampering to our stay. During our visit, the bar and restaurant areas presented a lively ambiance that perfectly complemented the hotel’s overall vibe. The bar, known for its signature cocktails, became a favorite spot for us to unwind after a day of sightseeing. We were particularly impressed by the knowledgeable staff, who were eager to recommend local brews and specialty drinks. A standout moment for us was enjoying a refreshing drink on the patio, where we could soak in the vibrant energy of the neighborhood, just a short stroll from the iconic Space Needle and the bustling streets of Seattle. Our concierge recommends requesting a room on the higher floors to enjoy sweeping views of the city skyline, particularly at sunset when the sky is painted with hues of orange and pink. This vantage point enhances the experience of your stay, allowing you to fully appreciate the dynamic charm of Seattle from the comfort of your own room.

Our check in process was very easy as we did the pre check-in online. The people at the front desk were always smiling and friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
The staff was great. Everyone at the front desk was extremely kind and accommodating. Folks at the bar and the coffee shop made some great drinks and were just as kind!
Rooms were comfortable and had fun, colorful furnishings and decor.
We look forward to coming back!!
When our room was ready, we got back to the hotel and they had decorated the room for my birthday and left me a bunch of goodies. It was completely unexpected and sweet.
We were super close to all the things we wanted to do. Just about a block from the climate pledge arena, space needle and all that. As well as the monorail that took us down to pikes place market and the aquarium.
In short. Amazing location, amazing service and amazing staff.
The room wasn’t also clean and nice and comfy.
Highly recommend.
Tia and Raul are amazing!
Oh and I can’t forget Georgia the resident bulldog! Super sweet and adorable.
