An exceptional hotel experience often resonates with the delicate balance of history and modernity, a quality that the Arctic Club Hotel embodies with finesse. As we approached this remarkable property, the grand façade—featuring intricate brickwork and majestic stone carvings—evoked a sense of stepping back into Seattle’s storied past. The lobby, with its high ceilings and polished wood accents, enveloped us in an ambiance reminiscent of a sophisticated 1920s club. The gentle crackle of a fire in a vintage-style fireplace mingled with the soft murmur of guests enjoying their afternoon cocktails, creating an inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. Once settled in, we were captivated by the seamless choreography of the staff, whose attentive service was both unobtrusive and genuinely warm. They moved with purpose through the elegantly appointed spaces, ensuring that glasses were filled and that every guest felt catered to. A subtle but memorable detail was the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, reflected in its thoughtfully curated amenities. From the biodegradable toiletries to the locally sourced culinary offerings, every aspect of our stay felt conscious and intentional. Our accommodations were equally enchanting. The room, bathed in soft, natural light during the day, featured rich textures—velvet armchairs and polished wooden surfaces—that invited relaxation. We appreciated the exquisite attention to detail; the decor harmonized vintage elements with contemporary comforts, creating a space that felt both romantic and functional. The plush bedding promised restful nights, while the bathroom, with its sleek fixtures and luxurious toiletries, provided a spa-like experience for morning rituals. As evening descended, we found ourselves drawn to the Polar Bar, where dim lighting and warm wood accents set the stage for a cozy yet sophisticated experience. The bar’s atmosphere shifted beautifully from day to night, offering a perfect backdrop for sipping on expertly crafted cocktails. The menu, a delightful medley of local flavors, included standout dishes that we couldn’t resist; the roasted Brussels sprouts, in particular, were a revelation, perfectly caramelized and seasoned. For those seeking relaxation beyond the room, the hotel’s spa area beckons with an inviting pool and a well-appointed gym, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the vibrant Seattle landscape. The surrounding neighborhood, rich in culture and history, offers a plethora of attractions, from the iconic Pike Place Market to the stunning waterfront—each just a leisurely stroll away. Our concierge recommends reserving one of the corner suites on a higher floor, which not only provides panoramic views of the city but also ensures a quieter atmosphere away from the bustling streets below. Planning your visit during the late afternoon allows you to experience the lobby bar at its liveliest, where you can mingle with fellow travelers and locals alike while enjoying the warm ambiance that defines the Arctic Club Hotel.

The room was fantastic. I loved the charm and amazing aesthetic all around.
The history of the hotel is also fascinating! Definitely look up on it before or during you stay here.
If you have a spooky or ghostly experience here, don't be alarmed! The ghosts are friendly, and they are simply living their afterlife here.
When I stayed, I had a lot of fun ghost hunting! Definitely one of my favorite haunted spots in Seattle.
If you are planning a trip to Seattle anytime soon, definitely choose the Arctic Club Hotel.
