The moment we entered Cedarbrook Lodge, the gentle hum of water trickling from a nearby fountain set the stage for a serene experience. This soft, ambient sound, combined with the rich scent of cedar and fresh greenery, enveloped us as we walked through the expansive lobby. The design language here is an elegant nod to the Pacific Northwest, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the surrounding lush landscape and invite the natural light to dance across the polished wood floors. The lobby, with its inviting seating areas adorned with plush armchairs and warm textiles, feels more like a cozy lodge than a hotel, encouraging guests to linger and unwind. As we explored further, we found ourselves appreciating the meticulous attention to detail in every corner. The open spaces are seamlessly integrated with nature, creating a harmonious flow that is both calming and invigorating. The staff moves with an effortless choreography, anticipating needs before they are expressed, and their genuine warmth makes each interaction feel personal. It’s this commitment to service that transforms a simple stay into an experience marked by comfort and care. Our room was a masterclass in understated elegance. Large windows framed views of the surrounding wetlands, allowing the natural world to filter into our sanctuary. The bed, adorned with finely woven linens, cradled us in softness, while the thoughtful layout provided ample surfaces for work and relaxation alike. The bathroom felt like a spa, featuring locally sourced amenities that invited us to indulge in self-care. The gentle glow of ambient lighting in the evenings provided a perfect backdrop for unwinding after a day of exploration or meetings. Dining at the Copperleaf Restaurant was another highlight of our stay. The menu reflects the region’s bounty with seasonal offerings that showcase local ingredients. We savored dishes artfully presented, each bite bursting with flavor and freshness, making the experience feel both elevated and accessible. The bar area, with its intimate atmosphere, transforms beautifully during the evenings, becoming a vibrant social hub, perfect for unwinding with a signature cocktail or a glass of local wine. The lodge’s expansive grounds encourage exploration, with walking paths winding through gardens and serene water features. We found that the best time to enjoy the outdoor spaces is in the early morning light, when the dew glistens on the grass and the air is crisp. A standout moment for us was discovering a hidden alcove where we could sip coffee, immersed in nature, as the day began to unfold. Our concierge recommends requesting a room on the upper floor for the most breathtaking views of the wetlands, especially at sunset when the sky transforms into a canvas of colors. This vantage point not only offers a stunning panorama but also ensures a quiet night’s rest away from any foot traffic. Cedarbrook Lodge is not just a place to stay; it’s a sanctuary that invites you to pause, reflect, and rejuvenate amidst the bustle of travel.

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and the common living rooms with fireplaces and treats were very much enjoyed- especially enjoyed meeting the house cat “Maddie”-quite the charmer! The gardens and pathways were charming and easy to navigate. There is on site parking, easy room access, and great security throughout.
The restaurant and bar were also very much enjoyed – the service was friendly and unobtrusive. Tina, Ashleigh, and Sara were all especially gracious and helpful. Don’t miss the “fancy grilled cheese” and “sweet potato soup” – both lip smacking delicious!!
And then the spa! Ohhhhhhhhhh that fabulous spa! Sara was especially helpful in scheduling and settling my account. The body scrub with Toni was divine. The massage with Eliza was absolutely dreamy, and the mani/pedi with Kim (?) was a delight!
We highly recommend this property and look forward to our return.
Fully satisfied with everything about this Hotel. Location is perfect, rooms and facilities great and staff and service couldn't be faulted.
Plenty of parking, restaurant and bar areas all good, and breakfast too.
Moved on next day but re-booked for August when we're next in town.
Looking forward to seeing how good the hotel is in warmer times instead of a cold/dark January.
Thanks for an enjoyable albeit brief stay.
My double queen room was well laid out with space to lounge as well as ample space to work. On most floors there was an actual lounge/gathering space complete with TV, snacks, a water machine, and large fridge stocked with…ice cream! Inside the room itself was a mini fridge, coffee machine, and a large soaking tub with bath salts I may or may not have taken advantage of every evening. Other amenities included a capacious gym and hot tub open from 6 am to 11 pm. One major perk of the entire 6 days I stayed at the lodge was the food. I have quite difficult dietary restrictions that make eating out a pain (IBS, garlic and onion sensitivities) but the chef at the Copperleaf restaurant (associated with the lodge) not only made sure I had something to eat at every meal provided by my conference, they also made sure that it wasn't something different than what everyone else was eating unless needed. The first time in a long time I've not been anxious about eating out.
Centrally located, adjacent to the airport and light rail, with helpful and accommodating staff and lots of easy to access amenities – I know the next time I am in Seattle, hopefully for leisure, I will be staying at Cedarbrook Lodge. Couldn't recommend them enough.
The conference rooms have everything we need and are really comfortable for long meetings. Everything is set up well and the whole process feels smooth and organized, which makes planning so much easier.
The food is also a big plus. The breakfast buffet has lots of good options and everything tastes fresh, and the lunch they provide is really nice too.
What really makes the difference is the staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
Highly recommend this place if you’re planning a team retreat or work event. We will definitely keep coming back!
