Great location, walking distance to the ferry building, cable cars and public transportation. The staff were super friendly and eager to give recommendations of things to do. Our room was on the 46th floor with gorgeous views of the bay and city skyline. Great dining menus and quick room service. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you FS staff for the wonderful stay!

Please commend your staff member, Jorge, who was superb in welcoming us this evening (12/10). His hospitality is unmatched, with his friendly manner and wonderful smile. He was amazingly helpful to us and recommended places to us, well beyond what we would have expected. You have a fantastic personality in your hotel personnel and you should do everything to thank him for us. We are world travellers and recognize his superb level of service when we see it. Thanks again, Jorge!

We had the best vacation experience with the four seasons. They arranged all our transportation for the trip and were able to make itinerary adjustments on the fly for us.
We ordered room service multiple times and the food and service staff were always exquisite. I wanna thank Sequoia at the front desk for starting our stay off right and our bellhop (your birthday was 2 days after mine on sept 30. I am sooooo sorry I am terrible with names and forgot we were having such a good time chatting!). He did an amazing job starting with opening my door when we arrived at the hotel and taking control of our luggage and welcoming us to the hotel. He was so helpful getting us to our room and settled. Thank you all for an amazing stay and the sweet surprise for our anniversary. Amazing team work!

Service is the best part of this hotel. Probably the only hotel in SF where you can get such attentive service. Every one of the staff members were extremely friendly. Rooms are alright, not as modern as other FS hotels, and it shows that this was not built as a FS. Can get noisy on the top floor from roof noise. Location is also alright, convenient for business and walkable to some destinations but otherwise totally dead at night.

My husband and I had an amazing two-night stay at the Four Seasons Embarcadero in San Francisco. We booked one night through Amex Platinum and the second through Chase Luxury Travel, which both offered various benefits for doing so. When we arrived, Sequoia did a great job handling check-in—and informed us that we had been upgraded from a city view to a bay view room, one of the aforementioned benefits. Our room was beautiful and did indeed have incredible views of the skyline and bay, including Coit Tower, Alcatraz, and the Transamerica Pyramid. One morning, we had breakfast at Orafo, and the second morning, we ordered room service—both excellent (with breakfast credits included as benefits through Amex and Chase). I also used the gym—which was not huge, but clean and well-maintained.

Last December, we stayed at the Four Seasons on Market Street. How do the two properties compare? Both are great; my husband preferred the one on Market Street, while I preferred Embarcadero (on Sansome Street). The advantages of Market Street are a more central location and access to the Equinox Sports Club (which has a pool). The advantages of Embarcadero are a newer building (more recently renovated), more of a boutique feel, and nicer views. But really, you can’t go wrong—both are fabulous.

Thanks to the Four Seasons Embarcadero for the magnificent hospitality!
