Arriving at The Westin Singapore, you are greeted by an elegant ballet of hospitality that dances gracefully across the 32nd floor lobby. The moment you step out of the lift, an expansive view of the bustling city below captures your attention, its skyline framed by the soft glow of the setting sun. The lobby itself, bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, emanates a sense of refined calm. The palette of soothing earth tones is complemented by the gentle whisper of water features that punctuate the space, creating a serene ambiance where the outside world feels pleasantly distant. As we explored the property, it became evident that every detail has been meticulously curated to enhance the guest experience. The staff, warm and attentive, glide through the lobby with an effortless grace, anticipating needs and ensuring that the rhythm of service flows seamlessly. A standout moment for us was the welcome drink—an aromatic blend of tropical fruits, served in delicate glassware that perfectly encapsulated the city’s vibrant spirit. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for our stay, embodying the Westin’s commitment to excellence. Our accommodations were nothing short of splendid. Entering our spacious room, we were instantly enveloped in a cocoon of comfort, where the muted elegance of the décor complemented the stunning views. The bedding, layered in sumptuous fabrics, offered a sanctuary after a day of exploration, while the ambient lighting could be adjusted to create just the right mood. The bathroom was a highlight, featuring a deep soaking tub alongside a rain shower—both designed with high-end materials that exuded a spa-like tranquility. The thoughtful amenities, including plush robes and a curated selection of bath products, further enhanced the experience, making it easy to unwind. In the evenings, the lobby bar transforms into a lively yet intimate gathering place. The soft strains of live music drift through the air, inviting guests to linger over expertly crafted cocktails. We found the ambiance shifting beautifully from day to evening, with the bar area becoming a vibrant social hub as guests shared stories of their adventures in Singapore. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was equally memorable; the culinary offerings showcase a blend of local flavors and international cuisine, each dish a testament to the skill and creativity of the culinary team. Our concierge recommends reserving a room on a higher floor to fully appreciate the breathtaking views of the Singapore skyline, particularly at sunset when the city is awash in golden light. For a truly special experience, consider dining at the restaurant during the evening hours; the atmosphere is as enchanting as the menu is enticing. Each moment spent at The Westin Singapore is an invitation to indulge in the art of relaxation while immersing oneself in the vibrant energy of the city.

Yan Hui, our sales representative, is an absolute gem. She was constantly in communication with us, always ready to assist and guide us throughout the wedding planning process. Her attention to detail and strong organizational skills ensured that everything was well planned and executed smoothly. She shared many valuable insights along the way, and there is truly no better sales representative than her. With her professional advice and support, planning our wedding was an absolute breeze.
Lourenz and Lufthi were our actual-day banquet managers, and they were amazing. Lourenz stayed by our side throughout the wedding, keeping us calm and paying attention to even the smallest details. His attentiveness made every march-in far less stressful than expected. Lufthi ensured that all banquet operations ran smoothly behind the scenes. During our wedding, there were issues with the carpet, and both managers went above and beyond by stationing themselves there, despite having countless other responsibilities, to ensure that no guests tripped.
A big thank you as well to Team Encore, who managed our AV system. The team was highly professional and took the time to guide our own AV personnel through all the controls and functions, ensuring the event ran smoothly from start to finish.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the chefs for taking our food tasting feedback seriously and providing thoughtful suggestions on taste and plating. Everything turned out exactly as we had requested, and it was perfect. Many of our guests shared that the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding.
Huge thanks to The Westin Singapore team for their dedication and support in bringing our dream wedding to life. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience without all of you.
A special thank you to Lourenz, Yan Hui (our event planner), the banquet team, and the chefs for their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care throughout the planning process and on the actual day. Everything ran smoothly, the food was excellent, and the team handled every detail with calm and confidence, which gave us great peace of mind.
It was a beautiful and memorable celebration, and we’re very grateful to the Westin team for helping make our wedding day so special. Highly recommended for couples looking for a reliable and well-organised wedding venue
From the first time we viewed the hotel, we were immediately impressed by Yan Hui's professionalism. Even before we confirmed the venue, she was very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. Eventually, our choice to proceed with Westin was because we knew the event would be well executed in her hands. Across our year of planning, she was always quick to assist us and respond to our queries, and was present at our food tasting, AV rehearsal and on the actual day – coordinating all our requests and making sure we were always well taken care of. Her efficiency is top notch and really stood out to us!
The venue itself offers a long march in into a grand ballroom, has a large LED screen for your dreamy backdrops, and we appreciated that everything was on the same floor (tea ceremony room, solemnisation area, reception and banquet)- which made things easy for our elderly guests. More importantly, we received lots of praise about the food- especially the soup, duck and truffle noodles, some people have told us this is the best Chinese wedding food they have had! The chef was attentive to our feedback during the food tasting and made sure to incorporate our preferences.
On the day itself, the event flow was well taken care of by our banquet manager Churia- who noticed little details like me being left handed (and set up my dinner plating accordingly), and also fed us warm water with straws as we waited for our march ins. He coordinated the timings well and made sure the night ran smoothly. The other staff also were around to help position the gowns as we got on and off the stage, and took good care of my bouquet and other logistics – packing it up for us and sending it up to the room while we were busy with our after party. We really appreciate the level of service and that we did not have to stress about these things on such a busy day already!
Finally, the rooms are comfortable, modern and well-sized. We appreciate the front desk team for also attentively collating our requests like having adjoining rooms for the bridal party and parents' rooms on the same floor etc. We enjoyed our stay in the bridal suite for 2 nights after the event which allowed us to get all the rest we needed!
Thank you again Westin and especially Yan Hui for the wonderful experience and making our special day truly memorable for us and our guests! 🙂
This time, I stayed in a two-bedroom room booked with points. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with no feeling of being cramped at all. The bathroom was well maintained, and the shower water pressure was strong and reliable. However, the toilet seat was cold, and there was no bidet (washlet), which may be a downside for some guests. Amenities covered the basics, but there were no pajamas provided.
The pool on the 35th floor was warm enough even for someone like me who gets cold easily. The view from the pool was excellent, making it enjoyable for adults, and the children were also very happy spending time there.
As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I had access to the lounge. While it was nice to have, the food selection was fairly limited, so I didn’t use it much. That said, it was good to be able to try laksa there. It’s best to think of the lounge as a small bonus rather than a major highlight.
The location is very convenient: Chinatown and several famous hawker centers are within walking distance, and Shenton Way MRT station is right in front of the hotel, making it easy to get around by public transport.
Due to an unexpected flight cancellation, my stay was shortened, but the hotel kindly refunded one night’s worth of points. I really appreciated the flexibility and thoughtful service.
Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-located hotel with great views, especially suitable for travelers who value space and convenience.
The room was spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of four. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful.
The staff's warm and welcoming demeanor added to our positive experience.
We also appreciated the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a variety of options to suit our tastes. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to return.
