Arriving at Swissôtel The Stamford is an experience marked by an effortless grace, where the bustle of urban Singapore fades into a backdrop as the attentive staff welcomes you with a genuine warmth. The lobby, a grand expanse of polished marble and glass, exudes an elegance that is both modern and timeless. During our check-in, we were struck by the calm efficiency of the staff, their choreography precise yet unobtrusive, ensuring that each guest feels like the center of attention without the weight of formality. As we stepped further into the hotel, the architecture revealed itself—a soaring atrium crowned with a delicate lattice of light that dances playfully across the space, shifting as the sun traverses the sky. This interplay of light and shadow creates an inviting ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration or business meetings. The subtle scent of fresh orchids wafts through the air, a nod to Singapore’s lush flora, which enhances the sensory experience of the space. Here, the pulse of the city is palpable yet harmoniously blended with the serene atmosphere cultivated by the hotel’s design. Our room, located on a higher floor, offered sweeping views of the Marina Bay skyline that transformed from golden sunlight to a symphony of twinkling lights as dusk arrived. The spacious layout featured contemporary furnishings that embraced comfort with an understated sophistication. The bed, adorned with plush linens, invited restful slumber, while thoughtfully placed amenities—such as filtered drinking water and a selection of quality teas—added a personal touch. In the bathroom, the marble accents and rain shower provided a spa-like ambiance, making it a haven for relaxation after a long day. As we explored the property, we found the social spaces particularly enticing. The hotel’s signature bar, located on a higher floor, provided an exquisite vantage point for sunset cocktails. It was during our evening visit that we were treated to a breathtaking panorama, with the sky painted in hues of orange and pink—an ideal backdrop for sampling the creative cocktail menu. The restaurant, known for its diverse culinary offerings, buzzed with energy in the evenings, yet we were equally drawn to its quiet morning hours, where a leisurely breakfast became a cherished ritual. For those looking to blend leisure and wellness, the spa facilities were equally impressive, featuring a range of treatments that harness local ingredients. The serene atmosphere within the wellness spaces invites guests to unwind fully, and we highly recommend scheduling a treatment early in the day to enjoy the calm before the city awakens. Our concierge recommends requesting a Marina Bay view room on one of the higher floors for an unparalleled perspective of the skyline. Timing your visit to the rooftop bar during sunset promises not only a picturesque view but a vibrant ambiance that encapsulates the spirit of Singapore.

AAA+
The room was spacious and clean! We also had an incredible view of Marina Bay and the financial district. You could spot a lot of the tourist attractions from the room (such as Gardens, MBS, the Merlion etc.)
House keeping was very efficient. No matter what time we left the room, it would be clean and ready by the time we came back. They also have turn down service every evening.
Room service was very quick as well, it did not take more than an hour for our food to arrive.
Elevators are quick, there is no wait time.
There is also access to the City Hall MRT station through Raffles City, which is convenient for getting around.
Although, in true "eco-friendly" fashion, the water pressure in our room was just alright, and the air conditioning could be colder, considering the blanket in the room was so warm.
Otherwise, everything else was great. The lounge was a plus as well for some light refreshments during the day.
