Each piece of furniture, from the plush, asymmetrical seating to the meticulously curated art pieces, invites guests to pause and absorb the elegant surroundings. Our arrival was greeted by an attentive staff, their choreography precise and fluid, a testament to the high level of training they undergo. The check-in process was seamless, with a refreshing welcome drink that perfectly captured the essence of Singapore’s tropical allure—citrusy and invigorating. Once settled into our accommodations, we found ourselves enveloped in a cocoon of comfort. The room was a study in modern elegance, featuring a harmonious blend of light wood, soft fabrics, and thoughtful amenities. It was here that we discovered the joy of working remotely, with reliable Wi-Fi that allowed us to remain connected while indulging in the tranquil atmosphere. After a rejuvenating treatment at the spa, we emerged feeling renewed, ready to explore the vibrant surroundings of Orchard Road, where shopping and cultural experiences awaited just steps outside the hotel. Our concierge recommends requesting a room on a higher floor for the best views of the city skyline, particularly at sunset when the skyline is ablaze with color. This vantage point enhances the already tranquil experience and allows you to soak in the dynamic pulse of Singapore from the comfort of your luxurious sanctuary.

Rooms are large and luxurious with healthy snacks and an abundance of amenities. There’s good WiFi throughout – including the pool which doubled as my second office. It’s easy to see why it’s rated the 8th best rooftop pool in Singapore, with a clear bottom base overlooking the road below, very cool!
I also used the gym, which had high tech equipment connecting to my Apple Watch.
Food here is next level with a nod to wellness. I especially loved the robot coffee in reception. The Korean BBQ at Cote is an essential – with some of the finest cuts of meat you’ll ever have. Utterly delicious. . The COMO Shamabala is another must-visit for your stay, with healthy well balanced dishes at the helm of Chef Timothy. I stayed a week in Singapore and had my standout meal here – tandoori cauliflower that I am still dreaming about.
The service throughout our stay was outstanding, we genuinely felt very well looked after. A huge special thanks to Jega, who was incredibly attentive and friendly, and to Cassandra, who also provided such exceptional service. It was always a pleasure stopping for our daily chats with them, and they truly made our stay even more memorable.
We would absolutely recommend COMO Metropolitan Singapore and would happily stay again.
