Profile
On a bustling evening in Singapore’s vibrant Keong Saik Road, we found ourselves at SteakGrill Steak House Chef’s Table, a venue that embodies the essence of refined indulgence. As we approached, the warm glow emanating from the establishment’s windows offered a glimpse of an inviting atmosphere, where laughter and the sizzling of premium cuts intertwined in a harmonious symphony. The host stand, adorned with fresh herbs and rustic wooden accents, exuded a sense of authenticity that set the tone for our culinary adventure. Upon entering, our senses were immediately engaged by the rich aroma of grilled meats and the subtle notes of wood smoke that lingered in the air. The decor strikes a balance between modern elegance and unpretentious comfort, with dark leather banquettes and polished wooden tables that invite intimate conversation.
Ambient lighting casts a soft glow, creating a cozy enclave that feels equally suited for a romantic date night or a celebratory gathering with friends. As the evening progressed, we noted the carefully curated soundtrack, a blend of soft jazz that complemented the clinking of glasses and the hum of delighted patrons. The attentive staff guided us through the menu with the poise of seasoned connoisseurs, their passion for the culinary arts evident in every recommendation. We were particularly drawn to the MB4 Angus steak, a centerpiece of the menu that guests rave about. When it arrived, the steak was beautifully seared, its juices glistening under the warm light.
The first bite revealed a tender, flavorful experience that surpassed our expectations. Each course arrived at a measured pace, allowing us to savor every moment, from the delicate appetizers to the robust main dishes. A standout moment of the evening came with the duck breast, tender and expertly balanced, showcasing the kitchen’s commitment to quality. The accompanying sides—crispy, addictive fries that we couldn’t resist—added a delightful crunch to the meal. Our selection from the wine list, featuring carefully curated options that artfully paired with our dishes, further enhanced the experience, transforming dinner into a celebration of flavors. As the night unfolded, the energy of the space shifted beautifully, from the vibrant conversations of early diners to a more intimate ambiance as the hour grew late. We found ourselves lingering over dessert, enjoying the final notes of the evening as the staff’s graciousness and attention to detail made the experience feel more like a gathering among friends than a standard meal. Our concierge recommends requesting a table near the window to fully immerse yourself in the lively street scene while enjoying the exquisite culinary offerings, particularly the MB4 Angus steak, which truly exemplifies the heart of SteakGrill’s philosophy.

Love the steak and the pork loin, there is an ideal portion of fat and meat, they were flavorful and in quite big portion.
Fries are also addictive! I am kinda of person who is very stingy on carbs.. but I finished all the fries!
Please order their cocktails too! Nice and very reasonable price (crème brûlée and expresso martini).
Will come backpack again!
I had the pleasure of dining at SteakGrill Steak House Chef's Table earlier this evening, and it was one of the best steakhouse meals I've had in a long time.
I went for the set menu and chose the MB4 Angus steak, cooked medium rare — and wow, they absolutely nailed it. The grill marks were perfect, the crust was beautifully caramelized, and the meat was incredibly juicy, tender, and bursting with rich, beefy flavor. Every bite was pure satisfaction; you can really taste the quality of the Angus beef and the skill of the chef.
The meal started with a wonderfully fresh salad — crisp, well-balanced, and the ideal light opener that made me excited for the main event.
Then came the star of the show, the steak — cooked to absolute perfection. It was seasoned just right, with no need for extra sauce because the natural flavors were so spot-on.
To finish, the crème brûlée was divine: that satisfying crack of the caramelized top, followed by the silky, creamy custard underneath. Not too sweet, not too heavy — just the perfect indulgent ending to an already fantastic dinner.
The atmosphere is cozy yet upscale (right in the heart of Chinatown), the service was attentive and friendly, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared.
If you're craving a seriously impressive steak experience in Singapore, this place is a must-visit. The cost was very reasonable for such a high-quality steak, and the team delivers truly excellent value for the food, ambience and location.
I'm already looking forward to going back!Highly recommended — thank you Chef Edwin for an unforgettable meal!
