Profile
At 54° Steakhouse, the culinary philosophy is rooted in a deep reverence for the art of grilling, dedicated to achieving that elusive perfect medium-rare. Upon entering this striking establishment in Singapore’s Central Business District, the atmosphere unfolds with an inviting warmth, accentuated by a carefully curated selection of modern decor that blends sophistication with comfort. The gentle hum of conversation mingles with soft jazz, crafting a backdrop that feels both lively and intimate, ideal for a special evening or a casual gathering. As we approached the host stand, the welcoming demeanor of the staff set a gracious tone for the evening. The attentive host guided us through the sleek, contemporary space, where the rich aroma of charred meats wafted enticingly from the open kitchen.
We settled into a plush leather banquette, feeling the subtle vibration of the tables’s energy as diners savored their meals, laughter echoing in rhythmic bursts. The lighting, warm and dimmed just enough to create an atmosphere of ease, played beautifully with the polished wooden accents throughout the dining area. The menu is a masterclass in steak, with a diverse selection of premium cuts sourced from around the globe. Our sommelier, passionate and knowledgeable, offered insightful recommendations paired with an impressive wine list that spans regions and varietals. A standout moment was the caramelized onion butter served alongside freshly baked sourdough—a delightful prelude to the main event. Each bite revealed a depth of flavor that was unexpected and alluring, coaxing us to linger a bit longer over our bread.
As our main courses arrived, we marveled at the sear on the Wagyu steak, which glistened invitingly on the plate. The kitchen’s mastery was evident, with each cut exuding juiciness and a mesmerizing depth of flavor that spoke to the careful seasoning and the precision of the grill. The side dishes, too, were thoughtfully prepared; the creamy truffle mashed potatoes complemented the steak’s richness, while seasonal vegetables added a refreshing contrast. As the evening unfolded, the rhythm of service was impeccably timed, with staff checking in at just the right moments, ensuring every need was met without feeling intrusive. Conversations flowed easily amid the laughter and clinking of glasses, creating a celebratory ambiance that made time feel suspended. Our concierge recommends requesting a table near the kitchen if you appreciate the theatricality of culinary artistry in action. This vantage point offers a front-row seat to the expert craftsmanship that defines 54° Steakhouse.

Not forgetting the service is attentive and prompt.
A special shoutout to Vinson for the thoughtful gesture. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a nicely printed photo. Thank you for preserving these memories for us. We will be back!
Comes with sourdough bread and caramelised onion butter. This is probably my second favourite butter after seaweed. Didn’t expect the butter to be infused with such depth of flavour.
STARTERS
Marinated Beetroot, Smoked Yogurt, Pistachio
🍝 Cold Capellini, Yuzu, Scallops, Trout Roe (+$10)
🥬 Chopped Baby Gem Caesar Salad, Bacon, Parmesan
We were not expecting full portions because of the price point yet serving sizes were substantial and nothing was compromise.
MAINS
🐟 Mediterranean Seabass, Mint Marinated Zucchini
🐄 Tender Valley Flank Steak, Roasted Potatoes, Bone Marrow Jus (+$10)
Fish was cooked perfectly and can I say that it’s so hard to find a steak for $38, much less to say a set? Some people might not like the cut but I always found it flavourful albeit chewier texture.
DESSERTS (inclusive of Complimentary Coffee or Tea)
🧀 Dessert of the Day (+$8)
It was cheesecake topped with berries. Mum was pleasantly surprised by how sweet the berries were.
We topped up for Banana Fosters ($16) which was served with Dates and Spiced Rum ice cream, caramelised walnut and Gula Melaka. Appreciated the complimentary lemon ice cream birthday treat!
Food quality was good, but I believe they can work to achieve a WOW. The cutlery got my attention, and had me googling.
Interior was good, but lighting at some area can be improved. Menu fonts can be larger for more visibility especially in the darker areas.
Restroom interior was comfortable despite A darker theme. Thumbs up for the hand soap from Omno and the thoughtfulness of the hand towel.
Overall our anniversary experience was made special from the team, with complimentary shot of soup, blueberry cheesecake, a “digestive” cocktail and last but not least a memorable printed photo. Keep up the good effort team! Thank you!
