The room was super clean as we are meticulously particular about cleanliness…thanks to the housekeeper Tonmoy for making it spotless and accommodating when we requested for a prayer mat. He went an extra mile with the decoration!
Our breakfast was delish especially Nasi Lemak! The Sambal is to die for!!! The staff was friendly and helpful especially Haziq who vastly clean up the used plates on our table….how convenient!
Overall, we love staying here!
During our first stay on New Year’s Eve (31 January 2025), check-in was very busy with a long queue. Despite this, Mr Iqbal greeted us with a warm smile, reassured us that we would be attended to shortly, and even asked if we were celebrating a special occasion.
His professionalism and friendliness made the check-in experience smooth and pleasant.
On our second visit, 24-26 Jan 2026, we were pleasantly surprised when Mr Iqbal recognised us and welcomed us back so warmly. He also fulfilled my request for a higher-floor room. Although it was a standard room, it was clean and had a great view. His attentiveness truly made our day.
We also observed how he interacted with other guests, and it was clear that many felt comfortable and happy with his service. Mr Iqbal shows a strong leadership presence and is a real asset to the hotel.
Highly commendable and highly recommended.

The breakfast food spread and variety were not very extensive, but everything provided was still nice and enjoyable. What truly stood out was the excellent service — the waiter was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We were served by Haziq during our breakfast, and he was extremely helpful and made our dining experience warm and pleasant.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent experience I had during my recent stay at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru.
From the moment I arrived, everything was impressive—from the welcoming hotel lobby to the comfortable room and the breakfast experience. The staff were consistently friendly, courteous, and very helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant.
The room was exceptionally neat and clean—truly spotless—and well equipped with all the necessary amenities such as a hairdryer, iron, and hangers. It was clear that great attention was paid to cleanliness and guest comfort.
Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. There was a wide variety of options available, ranging from local dishes to American and French selections, all of which were enjoyable.
I would also like to specially commend Staff Haziq, who was very friendly and attentive. He took the initiative to check on our experience and kindly assisted with clearing our plates once we were done. His service left a very positive impression on us.
Overall, my stay was truly excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend Holiday Inn Johor Bahru to others. Thank you for providing such a high standard of hospitality.
