Profile
At Peyrassol West, the philosophy of connection through wine and food resonates with every sip and bite. This inviting enoteca, brought to life by the husband-and-wife duo Scott Cory and Sachia Tinsley, embodies a spirit of camaraderie, welcoming guests to indulge in curated selections and thoughtfully crafted small plates. Arriving at this Normandy Park treasure, we were immediately enveloped by an ambiance that strikes a delicate balance between sophistication and warmth. The soft lighting casts a golden hue over the rustic decor, creating an intimate setting that beckons both couples and friends alike. As we settled into our cozy corner, the rhythmic clinking of glasses and gentle murmur of conversation painted a lively backdrop. The music—an eclectic mix of jazz and contemporary tunes—added to the inviting atmosphere without overwhelming our senses.
The attentive staff glided between tables, effortlessly balancing friendliness with professionalism, ensuring every need was met with a smile. Guests often note the charm of the service, which feels less like formality and more like a shared experience. The menu, though compact, speaks volumes about the kitchen’s confidence and artistry. We were drawn to the beef bourguignon, a dish that sings with depth, showcasing tender pieces of beef that melt in the mouth, enveloped in a rich, wine-infused sauce. The lasagna, a highlight of our evening, revealed layers of flavor through a delightful medley of mushrooms, each forkful more comforting than the last. An additional standout was the charcuterie board, adorned with artisanal cheeses and cured meats, perfectly paired with a glass from their extensive wine cellar—over 150 boutique options, a treasure trove for connoisseurs and casual sippers alike.
Throughout the evening, the pacing of our courses felt harmonious, each dish arriving just as we began to savor the last. The atmosphere shifted gracefully as twilight deepened outside, the warm glow of the interior contrasting beautifully with the cool evening air. It’s a place that encourages lingering, where the conversation flows as freely as the wine. A subtle yet memorable detail was the option to purchase a bottle from their retail selection, a gesture that invites guests to take a piece of the experience home. Our concierge recommends reserving a table in advance, especially during peak hours, to secure the best seats for a delightful evening immersed in the art of fine dining and exquisite wine.

We had the lasagna which had a deliciously rich mushroom flavor and the beef bourguignon which while not as much red wine flavor as I was anticipating was nonetheless delicious and worth revisiting time and again to get. We also had their lobster bisque which was very velvety and flavorful.
The one thing that could've been improved for us was wine by the glass. Usually a bottle is a bit too much for us, so we rely on the by-the-glass menu to pick and most of the glasses were pretty middle-of-the-road or on the softer side.
Regardless, we are eager to head back soon. Prices were super reasonable for the quality. Really enjoyed our evening.
We love the menu because there’s a little bit of everything whether you wanna eat big or enjoy some plates with a great glass of wine. We ended up ordering a bunch of plates and shared, and it didn’t go anywhere near breaking the bank.
We tried both the cocktails and wine and were quite satisfied.
Don’t sleep on the specials as we ordered from that menu and it was some of the stuff we love the most!
I can’t wait to go back and try some of the things we passed up on the menu, I just have to know now 🙂
The food items were about 25$ on average with a small menu giving away how confident they are with their selection. Which very much speaks for itself.
I got the center piece item thats largely featured on their online media and my date got a chef's special. Every part of the dish was paired perfectly, the sauce was rich but not overwhelming and I struggled to find any criticism for my plate. My dates chef's special also was fantastic and had it's own signature tones to it.
My only complaint was the service was noticeably more attentive towards other clients than with us. To the point where we reached the end of our dinner service without nary a drink being filled up despite the pitcher being empty but one employees action or inaction shouldn't be to blame for an entire establishment.
Overall we had two drinks, a small serving of bread, two entrees, and a desert to share. The price was 89$ which was brilliant for this area VS the quality.
Look into visiting when you get a chance I doubt you'd be disappointed.
