Profile
On a lively Saturday night in Singapore, we ventured to Tora Tora Tora, an izakaya perched atop the Oxley Bizhub 2, where the city’s vibrant pulse melds seamlessly with the intimate atmosphere of Japan’s famed dining culture. The moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a cascade of soft golden light that danced across the polished wooden surfaces, creating a warm embrace against the backdrop of bustling urban life. The spirited chatter of guests blended with the gentle clinking of glassware, setting a convivial tone that hinted at the culinary experiences awaiting us. As we approached the host stand, the inviting smile of Caleb, our attentive server, immediately set the standard for the evening. He guided us to our table, where plush cushions awaited, offering a perfect balance of comfort for the evening’s indulgences.
A subtle yet distinctive aroma of grilled fish and savory dashi wafted through the air, a testament to the kitchen’s dedication to authentic Japanese flavors. The atmosphere shifted as we settled in; the soundscape was punctuated by the rhythmic sizzle of skewers being grilled, inviting anticipation with every crackle. The menu is a thoughtful compilation of seasonal offerings, artfully showcasing air-flown sashimi, sushi, and izakaya classics. We began our culinary exploration with the Salmon Ikura Don, visually stunning with its vibrant colors and generous portions. Each bite revealed a harmonious balance of buttery salmon and the delicate burst of umami from the ikura, leaving a lingering satisfaction that beckoned for more.
The Dashi Udon, a perfect comfort dish, was presented with care; the chewy noodles enveloped in a richly flavored broth that felt both nourishing and revitalizing. The drink program here deserves its own spotlight; we savored a selection of sake that ranged from traditional to more contemporary expressions, each pairing beautifully with our selections. The service remained impeccable throughout the night, with Caleb offering insightful suggestions without the slightest hint of pressure, allowing us to linger over our meal and fully appreciate each element. As the evening unfolded, the energy in Tora Tora Tora transformed, the lively ambiance growing richer as laughter and conversation filled the air, drawing guests into a shared experience of warmth and connection. A standout moment for us was the unexpected delight of a private karaoke tables available for small gatherings, where friends could continue the celebration in a more intimate setting. Our concierge recommends reserving a table on a Saturday evening, ideally during the early hours of service, to soak in the full vibrancy of the dining experience while securing a prime spot by the windows, where the cityscape twinkles beneath the stars.

Was served by Caleb; polite & professional at his job. Food was great, enjoyed the generous portion of Salmon Ikura Don ($25). The Dashi Udon ($12) stock was flavoured well. Washed it down a cup of Ice lemon tea ($5).
Would definitely patronise the restaurant again for the taste & price range.
Dashi udon was simple and tasty. Udon was very chewy and comforting.
Dining area was very spacious and comfortable. Chairs are nicely cushioned as well.
Overall, great experience with many thanks to Caleb. Highly recommend!
P.s. the restaurant is quite hard to find, take the lift to level 11 and walk all the way straight until you see a small staircase leading to the swimming pool.
We like the makis and wagyu fried rice..!
Location wise was surprisingly nice on top floor of a commercial building.
Will recommend to consider using their private karaoke/games room if have celebrations/gatherings, but will need to hit min spend. Had lots of fun (with young kids as well) thks!!
