I ordered a flat white. Love the coffee, very fragrant, and the vibes of the lobby cafe is good. We sat by the window and looked out at the opposite hotel and condominium and we had a good conversation. The service by John was warm and polite too.
Stayed here for 2 nights for a staycay. Excellent stay, the staff here is amazing. I genuinely think they could be the best hotel staff in Singapore. Friendly, welcoming and helpful all while maintaining the warmth without being mechanical.
Location is great, right on top of the mrt with plenty of restaurants, cafe and hawker centres nearby.I stayed in the luxury club room. It was tastefully decorated with a clean vibe. The writing materials in the room were also a nice touch.
Only slight issue is our access cards stopped working around 10am on checkout day for some reason
Stopped by with my family to celebrate last day of 2025. Very pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere is amazing. The Christmas afternoon tea was pretty and delicious! We get to choose coffee or tea. Big thanks to John, Wenz and Germaine for the friendly and welcoming service.
I had a very pleasant stay at Sofitel Singapore City Centre. (family 2+2) The hotel has an excellent location, with Tanjong Pagar MRT station just steps away, which makes getting around Singapore extremely convenient. The rooms are spacious, well designed, and very comfortable. The bathrooms are a real highlight, featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower, which added to the overall feeling of luxury.
Overall, I rate the stay as very successful and enjoyable.
However, I would like to mention one incident that occurred during breakfast. After the staff checked my rooms number's and allowed me to enter the restaurant, a bill was later placed on my table, even though my stay already included breakfast. The situation was eventually clarified, but this is not the kind of experience one expects from a 5-star hotel. At the time, it felt like an attempt to charge an unnecessary fee.
The incident happened on the second day of my week-long stay and did not occur again afterward, but it was still disappointing.
Despite this, I truly enjoyed my stay and would still consider returning, mainly due to the location, room comfort, and overall quality of the hotel.
Stayed in January 2026 in a connecting Suite (For my Wife and I) + Twin room (For the teenage kids).
Locations is perfect for our family, walking distance to Chinatown and Maxwell Food Court. Literally 100's of high quality restaurants + bars in surrounding location as well. MRT stop below hotel.
Great pool + Gym + Awesome Breakfast!
Would have given them 10/10 if it wasn't for the below.
– The bathrooms are too dark, the lighting is not strong enough. I had to shave in the actual room to be able to see what I was doing and the same for make up for my female family members.
– One of the nights in the Exec Lounge was just too busy for the staff to handle. I was waiting over 20 minutes for my cocktail order and ended up having to leave for an appointment before it came. The other nights I was in the lounge it was great.
Either way the above 2 things didn't ruin my stay and our family still enjoyed the hotel very much and will be booking again on our next trip to Singapore later in the year.
